Buying a home in Park City doesn’t have to a complicated and time-consuming event — you just have to know who to call. Enter Kevin Fogarty and Joe Davis, two agents with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Utah Properties who have come up with a way to dramatically simplify the homebuying process.

The Utah natives both have around 25 years of experience working in Park City real estate. Over the course of their careers they’ve seen first-hand the challenges that can come with buying or selling a home — the hours spent driving from property to property and dealing with various developers and agents.

In response, Kevin and Joe put their heads together and came up with a solution that can only be described as ingenious: A Main Street office where properties at a majority of private clubs and communities are represented. It’s a comfortable and welcoming space where interested buyers can settle in with a cup of coffee and a dessert from the shop next door and peruse properties that were hand selected by Kevin and Joe based on the client’s vision, needs, and desired lifestyle.

“This is essentially a private gallery for private clubs, communities, and developments where someone can come and narrow down what they’re looking for. It’s more effective and helps ensure we fulfill all our clients’ goals and dreams,” explains Joe.

The duo is not only dedicated to making the homebuying process simpler and safer, but they see their role as being a true advocate for their client. “At any given time, there might be dozens of resale properties at every club and many other developer products. But if you contact us first and we do a
thorough discovery for you, we can do the foot work and filter it down,” says Joe. “We are your private club and community specialist, we will do the work for you.”

It goes without saying that the men — who both grew up in Utah and have been living in Park City for decades — also bring with them a wealth of
local knowledge. Kevin is a long-time climber and skier who worked for Marriott and Ritz-Carlton’s real estate sales divisions for 25 years. He raised — and is raising — his children in the community. Joe competed in skeleton at Olympic Park in the late ‘90s and early ‘00s and started his second career in real estate after retiring from his job as a director for Continental Airlines. He continues serving in the U.S. Air Force and has worked as a host for Park City Television’s morning show and contributes to KSL NewsRadio. Both remain deeply rooted in the community they call home.

“I try to give back to the community all I can, Park City has been good to me,” explains Kevin. “Philanthropy is a big focus for us, so rest assured you’re not just joining a community, you’re going to help preserve the community that attracted you in the first place.”

Philanthropy is something their brokerage, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Utah Properties, shares.

“When we met Steve Roney, who owns the Utah Property division of Berkshire, we realized we had found a kindred spirit, and same with his family. They not only appreciated our vision but had one similar to it,” says Joe. “It just made it so obvious that this was the best partnership.”

Kevin and Joe’s venture is still new — the gallery had a soft opening on Labor Day weekend — but their mission to simplify the homebuying process for the client has already proven successful. All it takes is a few minutes with the duo and they’ll curate a selection of available properties that fit your needs and lifestyle. “Let us be your one-stop shop; filter the options, do a discovery for you, and offer up a recommendation,” says Kevin.

It really is that simple.
