MountainStyle Living

OLD TOWN, CROWNED ONE OF THE LARGEST ART DISTRICTS IN THE INTERMOUNTAIN WEST, IS A COMPLETE IMMERSION IN FINE ART, PERFORMANCE ART, AND CULINARY ART.

In early August, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival takes over Main Street, boasting creations from local and visiting vendors. Year round, dozens of galleries line Old Town’s Main Street and art lovers browse paintings, sculptures, photography, and jewelry. High-fashion clothing items inspired by mountain life are prominent in many boutiques.

When it comes to culinary art, chefs carefully plate meals that are designed for both aesthetic and taste bud enjoyment. Artisan goodies like olive oil, tea, whiskey, and chocolate are a few of the delicacies crafted and sold in town. Live music and performance art are central to Park City’s nightlife scene with entertaining events every night of the week.

Meisha Ross of Historic Park City Alliance sums up the Old Town experience, “I love that in a town that is fueled by adventure and adrenaline we have an immersive art culture that encompasses galleries, performances, cuisine, fashion, and events.”  n
